- The browser asks for camera permission on the first start; press Allow. If the prompt did not appear, check the site settings in the address bar. The camera works only over https.
- Will the QR code work forever?
- Yes. The code is static: the data is embedded in the image itself, there are no redirects through our server and no expiry. The downloaded image works forever.
- Which format should I choose for a retail product?
- EAN-13 for retail in Europe and most of the world, UPC-A for the USA. The leading digits are issued by GS1; the generator only draws the image for your number.
