FAQ
- How accurate is the cut-out?
- The model is trained on people, products, animals and objects and handles hair and semi-transparent edges well. Hard cases: mesh-like objects and subjects of the same colour as the background.
- Can I process many photos at once?
- Yes, upload all the files and press the button once. The results download as an archive. The first photo takes longer: a 44 MB model (88 MB for the GPU) is downloaded once and cached in the browser.
- What is the output format?
- PNG with transparency when the background is removed. If you choose a colour or your own picture you can save as JPG. The size and quality of the original photo are kept.
- Where does my photo go?
- Nowhere. The neural network runs right in the browser; the file is not uploaded to a server, nobody sees or stores it.
